Australian Safari
We approached Recross about using their tyres in the
Safari and they were keen to help us out and put their tyres through this tortuous test.
They selected some heavy duty casings and put them through for us. We were a little
sceptical about how they would survive the outback conditions at high speed and on such a
heavy, large, powerful bike (KTM640). By the end of the Safari, any doubts that we had
about these tyres were blown away...boy they were awesome. Over the whole Safari, we used
just four tyres and they certainly helped to propel me to a top 5 finish.

I've been using Recross remoulds for years, mainly the
soft terrain pattern. I got tired of paying $120-$130 for tyres that most of the time
would be shredded or worn out in a couple of days of competition. With these tyres I got
modern patterns at a fraction of the cost, plus their Toyo compounds seem to be better
than most new tyres on the market.

We clock up big K's on our tours and we also have a
fleet of hire bikes. Tyres were costing us a small fortune until we started using Recross
remoulds. I would be happy to get the same mileage out of their tyres just because of the
saving in price, but the bloody things last longer too !

We've been selling the Recross remoulds for years. Our
customers keep coming back for them again and again. We use them on our race bikes and
they perform great. A big plus for us is the price and the fact that we are helping the
environment by recycling. We have a lot of rocky ground up here that seems to shred knobs
off a lot of tyres but the Recross remoulds seem to be immune from shredding.
